The upgrade launches September 29, 2026 as a free update for current owners on qualifying platforms. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine were granted at no extra cost on August 25, 2026. • The Witcher official site — franchise hub for news, Songs of the Past, and The Witcher 4 targeting 2028.

Pre-purchase talk from the announcement named Battle.net and Nintendo Switch 2 as new or newly emphasized storefronts. Existing owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S receive Remastered as a free upgrade. Confirm the fine print on the buy page rather than on a random social screenshot.

Storefronts

Use the store that already owns your license when possible. Mixing stores does not merge progress.

• Steam — app ID 292030. That is the long-running Witcher 3 listing; the Remastered client is the September 29 upgrade on that product, not a second game you must hunt by a new name.
• GOG — CD PROJEKT’s own store. DRM-free owners should watch their GOG Library on launch day rather than buying a duplicate on another PC store.
• Epic Games Store — same advice: one license, one upgrade path.
• Battle.net — Blizzard’s storefront is part of the Remastered announcement (including a later Diablo IV cosmetic for expansion buyers on that platform). Use the official buy page if the Battle.net product page is still filling in.
• PlayStation Store — PS5 SKU; PS5 Pro support is listed among Remastered features.
• Xbox — Xbox Series X|S, with Xbox Play Anywhere called out so a Series console and an Xbox PC / handheld can share the upgraded adventure.
• Nintendo eShop — Switch 2 is a Remastered platform. Switch 1 owners should read How to Upgrade and Platforms before assuming a one-click path; first-party rules differ by generation.

If a third-party key shop undercuts the official price, remember this wiki will not vouch for it. Stolen keys and region mismatches are how people lose Hearts of Stone flags.
